Weekly Events:
Sunday School for
all; starting at Preschool age 3 through High School students. All meet
on Sunday mornings at 9:15.
Confirmation for 6th,
7th & 8th grade. Meets
6:45 – 8:00 on Wednesdays.
High School Bible Study meets
at Vetter’s house, Sundays at 7:00. Note: off for the month of October.

At what age does Sunday School
start?
Sunday School classes are
offered for children age 3 through adult.
Do you have Vacation
Bible School?
Yes, we have VBS each summer. Contact the church office or
check the website for details.
Do you have Day Camp?
We have Day Camp together with First Lutheran
Church. It
gives a taste of the camp experience right here in Mitchell.
What is the age of First Communion?
Since we understand communion as God forgiving us, Holy Communion
is offered to all the baptized. The age of first communion is
determined by the parents in consultation with the pastor. First
communion is offered to any age level and is usually completed by the
time a person is in 5th grade.
What is confirmation and when does it begin?
Confirmation is the program for youth in grades 6-8 where students
are encouraged to learn about and grow in faith.
What is Junior Luck?
This is a youth group for 6th – 8th
graders. We get together for fun events and fundraisers throughout
the year.
What is Senior Luck?
This is a youth group for 9th -12th
graders. They will meet on Sunday nights starting in September.
