Chart of Gifts Needed (1-3 Year Pledges)
In order to reach our financial objectives, we will need both a substantial number of givers and a few, fairly substantial gifts as this chart of gifts illustrates. All members are asked to consider gifts above and beyond what they give in their regular offerings and other contributions.

Please prayerfully consider joining the Trinity Team by making your pledge as soon as possible.

**There are extra pledge cards in the narthex and a basket for them.**

Exciting Things To Come

Looking back, 2007 was a memorable year for our church as we celebrated our 50th Anniversary and reminisced about the journey we’ve all been a part of. But now, we must look on to the future. For several months, we as a congregation have taken steps into a new journey for the Worship Center Renovation Project. As one of Trinity’s younger members, I can’t help but share my excitement for this project and for what is to come!
Yes, looking into the future can be a scary thing. There can be many unknowns and we wonder if we are walking on the right path. In trusting Christ, we must walk by faith, not by sight. As I read The Purpose Driven Life, I feel like God is speaking to me regarding the renovations about to take place.  It’s necessary for us to think of the bigger picture: Worship is not for our benefit. We worship for God’s benefit and to bring glory to him. We are called to belong, not just believe.  God’s purposes for his church are like his 5 purposes for us:
Worship helps us focus on God, fellowship helps us face life’s problems, discipleship helps fortify our faith, ministry helps find our talents, and evangelism helps fulfill our mission.
Unity is the soul of fellowship. As believers we share one Lord, one Body, one purpose, one Father, one Spirit, one hope, one faith, one baptism, and one love.
How exciting it will be for us as a congregation to worship our Lord in a renewed space and with a renewed spirit!  More importantly, it’s necessary to think of the upcoming improvements as tools to expand our capabilities for growing in the Body of Christ and for becoming instruments of Christ as we witness to others.  So as we look to the future, “Let us concentrate on the things which make for harmony and the growth of our fellowship together.” Romans 14:19

Your friend in Christ,
Brenda Sheets
